Ultimately the responsibility on any letting agent is to ensure their landlord and the landlord’s property meets the current standards which currently amount to over 150 pieces of legislation. We take this responsibility very seriously as any error can result in heavy fines and even criminal prosecution.

We take this responsibility very seriously as any error can result in heavy fines and even criminal prosecution. Unlike a number of other agents, we focus entirely on Residential lettings, in the words of one of my favourite authors Bill Hybels ‘Do one thing and do it well’. We strive to set the highest standards and best practice within the industry and to this end we have been members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (A.R.L.A) for over 17 years. Governed by their strict code of conduct we can provide every one of our clients the assurance that our practices are transparent and fair. Furthermore. we are one of the few companies able to offer our clients Client Money Protection (CMP). This is an insurance backed scheme that protects 100% of our clients’ money. Every one of the company Directors are actively involved in the church and their local communities, two of which are Baptist ministers. We also actively support overseas projects in Uganda, Rawanda and the Kongo. In 2008 all of the company profits were used to purchase 22 acres of land in Rawanda which now houses almost 52 Babies and young children with HIV and runs a primary school teaching another 230 children. If you want to know more about this project please click this link http://www.cherishuganda.org/ It is no surprise therefore that at the cornerstone of everything we do is integrity. To provide our clients with a fair and honest service and above all to admit when we are wrong, after all, we are human. This no-nonsense approach has meant our clients remain loyal and value the service and advice they receive year after year. Whether you are a landlord with a single property or a portfolio we can assure you your business is equally as important to us. Colin Roe Managing Director LET it

Sandra is very hands-on with overseeing the management of all of our 1000 plus properties and liaising between landlords, tenants and contractors to ensure compliance is being met. In her spare time, Sandra also enjoys walking her dog, socialising, spending time with her family, and generally being awesome!
Chris is one the longest serving team members having started his career with LET IT whilst still studying music at Strathclyde University in 2002. Chris began work part time as a viewings agent before commencing full time in 2005. His role developed over the years until he was appointed the role of Business Development Manager in 2009, where his role centres around generating new business through networking and developing relationships with new landlord clients. Chris then ensures that properties are marketed to the highest level, by carrying out all LET ITs photoshoots.

In his spare time he is passionate about following his motorsport ambitions, competing in the Scottish Motorsport Championships in the Mini Cooper Cup. Alistair is one of LET it‘s three Property Managers. He has been passionately looking after our tenants and landlords since 2002. His main role involves overseeing the tenancy applications, the move-in process with our tenants, and dealing with day to day repairs and maintenance within his property portfolio. With a strong background in customer service, he is passionate in having a great relationship with all his client landlords, tenants and work colleagues. Prior to Alistair joining Let it he enjoyed many years working in the retail industry but with the long unsociable hours. He’s arguably the office comedian, making sure that we get a daily dose of funny stories and terrible jokes! Outside office hours he enjoys maintaining his fitness and spending time with his family.

Now almost 4 years into her role as inventory clerk, the thing she enjoys the most about her work environment is her close knit work family. Since becoming a mum again since joining us, she is enjoying the contrast between work and family life.
Cara is the most recent member of team LET-it, having joined us in 2026. Previously, she worked for another high street property firm, with a focus on sales and mortgage side of the business. In her spare time, Cara loves nothing more than relaxing with her wee dog ‘Bear’, the Pomeranian, and her fiancé!
Derek has been with the company since September 2014 having previously worked as a bar manager for 6 years. Derek’s main roles include showing prospective tenants our available properties and carrying out interim inspection for all of our properties 4 times each year. In his free time Derek enjoys spending time with his family and playing pool. He also holds a 3rd Degree blackbelt in Tae-kwon-do.. so be warned!.
