Colin has been working within lettings and property management for over 28 years. Beginning his career with Harvey & Donaldson he spent a further 9 years with Ross & Liddell before joining LET it in 1999. He was appointed a director in 2003 and M.D in 2009. He is currently a fellow of A.R.L.A (the Association of Residential Letting Agents) having gained awards in residential letting and legal comprehension. Since starting with LET it he has been instrumental in growing the firm from managing just over 130 properties to just over 1000.
Chris is one the longest serving staff members having started his career with LET it whilst still studying for his university degree in music at Strathclyde University in 2002. Chris began work part time as a viewings agent before commencing full time in 2005, after graduating from university and deciding on a path away from the music world. His role developed over the years until he was appointed the companies New Business Development Manager in 2009, where he is tasked with the job of growing the business through taking on new instructions for both the Glasgow and Paisley offices.
As the senior letting administrator in our Glasgow branch, I have been helping tenants find their new home since 2002. My main role involves overseeing the tenancy applications, the move-in process with our tenants, and general administration. With a strong background in customer service, I am passionate that I have a great relationship with all our landlords, tenants and work colleagues. Prior to me joining Let it I enjoyed many years working in the retail industry but with the long unsociable hours, it was finally time to move on and join the Let it family. Outside office hours I enjoy chilling out and spending time with my other family.
Finlay has been working with the company since 2007. He previously worked in retail management with Birthdays and Warner Bros Studio Stores and has the ominous task of pursuing tenants for their rent every month. We don’t envy his job! He is passionate about the outdoors and fostering greyhounds. He enjoys live music, and follows many traditional Scottish bands as well as playing several instruments.
Charlene has been with the firm since October 2014. She is suited to the role as she is someone of high energy and great attention to detail and time management – crucial in this role, she loves the varied nature and the need to be organised in such a demanding role. Charlene has over 10 years’ experience in customer services through working in the telecommunications business.
Brenda joined our team in May 2017; she has many years’ experience working within factoring and brings a sound knowledge of Property Management to our Repairs Department.
Brenda’s previous roles involved carrying out inspections of tenements and modern properties however found that her strengths were more office based tasks and more enjoyed the daily handling of the reported repairs and insurance claims.
With Brenda’s experience, she offers a strong point of contact for our Landlords and tenants for any repairs enquiries and can offer sound advice and instructions prior to contractors becoming involved.
Sharon Joined LET it in September 2014 having spent the previous 12 years working for the Ministry of Defence. Sharon has also gained her Propertymark Qualifications in residential Lettings and Property Management in Scotland, passing with distinction. Her main role is dealing with day to day enquiries from prospective tenants, processing applications, preparing tenancy documents and legal notices for new tenants.
Colin is the most recent addition to the team having started in May of 2017. Colin previously worked in sales for over 30 years for a number of plumbing and drainage firms so letting and property management is a change of direction having been made redundant from his last post.
Colin’s role as viewing agent involves showing prospective tenants around our many wonderful properties and matching tenants to suitable homes. In his spare time Colin is a keen golfer boasting a handicap of 7!
