Advance Criteria

Repairs

In the event of a repair being required please ensure
you carry out the following procedures listed below:- 

Electrical

• For loss of power please check all fuses and circuit breakers – this includes plugs. If this does not resolve the problem please contact your energy supplier as this may be due to a power cut in your area.

• For breakdown of small appliances, i.e.; kettles, toasters etc please follow the above steps and if necessary replace with equivalent model up to the value of £15. (please retain old appliance and return to your local office with the receipt for the replacement item so that we are able to reimburse you).

• In the case of large domestic appliances, eg: cooker, washing machine etc, please check instruction manual first (if manual is not available please contact your local office to arrange a duplicate copy if available). If this does not resolve the problem please call our office quoting serial number, make and model of appliance and a full description of fault.

Water

• In the case of a water leak please locate and shut of the mains supply and or isolation valve before contacting your local office or our emergency contractor.
 
• In the event of no water please contact Scottish Water on 0845 601 8855.

Gas

• Should you smell gas at the property please turn off the supply at your meter and contact Transco on 0870 6081524 immediately. Once Transco have located where the leak has occurred please advice your local office or our emergency contractors if outside office hours.

NB: Tenants should note that they are responsible for maintaining fuses, light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries.

N.B:  these numbers must only be used in an emergency. Non emergencies will be chargable to you. If an emergency call out is required please ensure that our office is informed of this on the first available working day
